What's th best antenna for the attic?

Image
Thanks to Michael Martens (KB9VBR) and Joe (KD9CJX), we have some updated antenna ideas for radio amateurs living in deed-restricted properties (HOAs and CC&Rs). Michael and Joe discuss the various antennas that can be fitted into a home or apartment attic--sometimes the only place available for VHF/UHF/HF antennas. While these attic antennas are limited, they will get you on the air at a minimal expense.  Best of all, nosey neighbors or HOA committees won't even know you're transmitting.  Of course, pay attention to safety factors and use the least power needed to make contacts. Thanks for joining us today. Aloha es 73 de Russ (KH6JRM). Here are some comments from Michael and Joe: A viewer asks: What would be your best recommended HF attic antenna? Joe and I respond with some limited space and HOA friendly options. Like what you see?
