If you live in deed-restricted housing (HOA/CC&Rs), you know how difficult it is to erect a decent antenna without the neighbors suspecting your radio activities. In this video, Patrick Dortch installs one of the best disguised HF antennas I've seen. Perhaps this installation will help you get the antenna you want without the "radio police" finding it. Here are some general observations from Pat: "How do I have up 2 dipoles, one that's 133' long, in an HOA? With secret underground tunnels, that's how!" ----- For the latest Amateur/Ham Radio news and information, please visit these websites: http://www.HawaiiARRL.info. http://www.arrl.org. http://www.hamradioupdate.com http://www.southgatearc.org. https://www.blubrry.com/...

If you can't see the video, please insert this title URL into your browser search box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWvgAxkoh2s. If you're facing severe antenna limitations imposed by deed-restricted housing (HOA/CC&R), you may find this "stealthy" antenna system from Patrick Dortch worth your time. Patrick has placed all of his antenna feed lines in "secret" underground tunnels which lead to a distant group of trees concealing his two antennas.  Nothing suspicious rests above ground for peering eyes to see.  About the only thing I would add are locks and vermin protection to his feed line boxes.  A beautiful, but somewhat costly answer to the "antenna police".
