Ham Stick Antenna Great for Small Back Yards.
If you have some old Ham Stick Antenna rods and something to use as supporting hub, then you have the makings for a simple, multiband emergency antenna. In this video, Dave Casler (KE0OG) shows how this combination can allow HF operations on a small urban lot. This project is also good for POTA and SOTA operations. Here are some comments from Dave (KE0OG): I received from Chameleon Antenna their CHA-QUAD ONE to review. I also bought some MFJ HF Mobile Ham-Tenna Whips. The CHA Quad ONE acts as a hub into which you can put either two Ham-Tenna or other Ham Sticks to create a short dipole, or add a second set to create a two band dipole.
