How to build and tune a linked dipole antenna.
Another way to get multiband HF coverage is to build a "linked dipole antenna" covering your favorite bands.
In this video from Charlie (NJ7V), we get step-by-step instructions on how to design, build, test, and tune an antenna capable of using the 20, 30, and 40 meter Amateur Radio bands...all this with using a single support (mast) and one feed line.
Charlie shows us how to make all the parts of this antenna, including the insulators.
This antenna is easy-to-build and offers wide-band coverage at a modest cost.
