Ham Radio Stealthy Antenna Options-the last one works!
Here's another great stealth antenna for radio amateurs living in deed-restricted homes or apartments.
After experimenting with several ideas, Jonathan (M0JSX) finds the "fence antenna" solves most of his space and operational requirements.
After trying several designs, Jonathan says the ultra-simple fence antenna mounted 5 to 6 feet (1.52 to 1.82 meters) above ground on his fence works very well, considering its limitations. Jonathan feels this antenna is ideal for NVIS communications, local nets, and regional contacts.
