Vertical vs End-Fed Antennas: Lake Superior QRP Ham Radio


 

In this video, Michael Martens (KB9VBR) takes his QRP gear and antennas to the shores of Wisconsin's Lake Superior.

Amids this beutiful park land, Michael tests the performance of a vertical and end-fed antenna system.  Thanks to the nearby shore of this immense fresh water lake, both antennas perform well with several excellent contacts.
