HF Portable Antenna using tape measure.


 If you're looking for simple, inexpensive ways to improve the performance of your HF antenna, please consider the lowly tape measure.

This common household item can be used as antenna elements to get a "perfect match made to measure."

You can even use metal tape measures to make a ground radial or counterpoise system for your HF vertical antenna.

Peter Waters does an excellent job of describing the antenna experiments you can do with an ordinary metal tape measure.
