Ham Radio: Building the small magnetic loop antenna.

Here's another interesting antenna idea for radio amateurs linving in deed-restricted homes, apartments, and condominiums.

In this video, Kevin Loughin (KB9RLW) builds a small magnetic loop antenna and discusses the pros and cons of this antenna design.

While there are definite limitations to this antenna, it will get you on the air without raising the supicions of HOA boards or noisy neighbors.

Here are a few comments from Kevin (KB9RLW):

I build the small magnetic loop antenna I designed back in March of 2023. It's a long one. Here's the link to the 3D printed part the coaxes are tied to. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:662... The tool I showed is called a "Pin Vise". Here's a link to a search on Amazon for similar tools. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pin+vise&i...
