The 15m Moxon Ham Radio Antenna You Can Build From Tent Poles

If you have some left over camping or hiking equipment, you may have the makings of an interesting, easy-to-make Moxon Antenna for the 15 meter Amateur Radio Band.

In this video, Colin (MM0OPX), uses some tent poles to support his 15 meter Moxon Antenna.  This antenna has a low takeoff angle and a good front-to-back ratio.  Now's the time to put your old camping equipment to use.
