How to Turn Your Fence into a Ham Radio Antenna.

If your HOA/CC&Rs are hampering your ham radio activities, please try this solution from "Broken Signals."

In this video, we see how a common wooden property fence can be transformed into workable HF antenna.  You'll need wire, some coax, a 9 to 1 UnUn, and perhaps a rugged antenna "tuner" to make this project work.

While this antenna can't match the performance of a yagi or a full-length dipole, it will give you contacts and serve as an emergency NVIS antenna for local and regional operations.
