HAM RADIO: Dipole Antenna, Back to Basics-Simple Build

The "classic" halfwave dipole antenna is one of the simplest, yet versatile antennas available to radio amateurs.  When in doubt, build a dipole antenna and enjoy the benefits of this efficient HF antenna.

In this video, Mike (M0MSN) builds a simple, inexpensive dipole and shows us how to transform it into a multi-band antenna called the "fan dipole."  Great antenna for both home and portable use.

Here are some comments from Mike (M0MSN):

Hello again, After many days off I am back with another simple Antenna Build. There is much to be said about a simple dipole antenna and much that is missed, so in this upload I try to bring the simplicity and speed of building a dipole and how to make it a fan of more than a single frequency, by turning it into a FAN Dipole. Just for fun Please subscribe and like. Cheers Mike - M0MSN P.S. do not take my word for it, give it a go for yourself.
