If you can have only one multi-band HF antenna, please try the "classic" Doublet Antenna.

In this video, Peter Waters (G3OJV), explores the pros and cons of this versatile, easily-built HF antenna.  All you need are some wire, connectors, a balanced feedline, and a sturdy antenna "tuner" to gain multi-band capability.
