Build a Double Bazooka Antenna

Image
If you need a broadband, low SWR mono-band antenna, then please try this "Double Bazooka" design from Steve (W7UDI). Rather than using a single wire like a conventional dipole antenna, the double bazooka uses coaxial cable and a few stubs to attain a broad bandwith and lower swr.  This antenna finds particular favor with radio amateurs using the 75/80 meter bands. In this video, Steve (W7UDI) takes us step-by-step through the design, construction, testing, and use process of this antenna. Here are few comments from Steve (W7UDI): Steve W7UDI teaches us how to build a ham radio antenna called a coaxial dipole. This antenna is also known as the "double bazooka" antenna.   The sporadic E-Skip Season is here.  It's time to broaden your DX contacts with a "super simple" 6 meter delta loop antenna. In this video, Johnathan (M0JSX) (K6JSX) shows how to build, test, and operate this quiet, inexpensive 6 meter antenna. If you can't see the video,  please insert this title URL into your browser search box:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phLWsH8XOI8. Thanks for joining us today. Aloha es 73 de Russ (KH6JRM). Here are a few comments from Johnathan (M0JSX) (K6JSX): In this video I talk though my 6m delta loop which I made for way less than £10. Cheap, simple to make and it just works!
