Military mast field antenna set up


 A good source of mast sections for field operations is the common GRA4 mast kit offered as military surplus by several online vendors.

In this video from Joe (N9TAX), we see a variety of military mast sections assembled to make a sturdy support for a portable Windom Antenna.  

With a little advanced planning, this antenna system can be erected by one person in a short space of time.

In this video I demonstrate using a couple military pole sets to put up an antenna structure in the middle of a field with 1 person. I mount a windom type antenna to the mast.
