Effective Indoor Antennas.


 

Many radio amateurs use indoor and stealth antennas to protect their stations from inclement weather or to avoid deed-restrictions common to HOAs and CC&Rs.

In this video, Dave Casler (KE0OG) explores several useful HF indoor antennas, including the rollup dipole and the classic J-Pole antennas.

In this short, well-made video, "taverned" shows us how he used a mag mount antenna, a simple C clamp, and a basic ground system to convert his mountain bike into a mobile station.  The project is straight forward, simple, and gives you emergency communications while you peddle down the road.
