DIY adjustable loading coil on a hamstick. 3 bands on one stick.

Here's another interesting portable antenna idea from Wes (VA5MUD).

In this video, Wes uses the popular "Hamstick" antenna to cover three HF Bands (10 meters, 12 meters, and 15 meters).

The hamstick modification is easy and allows you three bands to explore during mobile or portable opertions.

Here are a few comments from Wes (VA5MUD):

In this video I will use only a 10m Hamstick with my homemade loading coil to work on 10m, 12m and 15m. Adjustments are made by clipping the wire on the coil at a place that has the best SWR on the desired band. #hamradio #pota #yaesu #antenna #tricks #DIY #prepping #survival #radio
