80m with your 66ft end fed half wave.

Thanks to Colin (MM0OPX) for this easy way to convert your 40m-10m antenna into a useable antenna for the 80 meter Amateur Radio Band.

According to Colin, the secret to this transformation is the addition of a 110uH coil and a small length of wire at the end of the antenna.

Colin shows us how to make this coil and where to position in for the best results.

Here are some comments from Colin (MM0OPX):

n this video I show you how to make a 110µH loading coil to allow 80m operation on a 66ft end fad half wave. This is a very inexpensive project which you can make from materials you have lying around. Here is the link to the 66pacific coil inductance calculator. https://www.66pacific.com/calculators...

Thanks for joining us today.
