HF Mini-Beam-created by G4ZU: Self-Build or adapt for your own use.

I've always enjoyed building "classic" ham radio antennas.  In this video, I renewed my acquaintance with Gordon "Dick" Bird's now famous mini-beam HF antenna.

Peter Waters (G3OJV) does an excellent job of describing both the theory and practice behind this classic HF antenna.  If you have some basic tools and a few weekends to devote to building this exceptional HF antenna, you'll have a "classic" beam that will provide hours of DX fun.
