Improvised Field Comms-The Jungle Antenna



Here's a great emergency quarter wave ground plane antenna for the 2 meter Amateur Radio band.  Most of the materials for this emergency antenna can be obtained locally or from online retailers.

"The Tech Prepper" does a good job of explaining the theory and practical requirements of this portable antenna.
