Insane 20cm aluminum-foil antenna for 10m
Radio amateurs have used almost anything made of metal for antennas. How about using common aluminum foil as an impromptu or emergency antenna?
In this fascinating video, David (DL1DN) experiments with a rolled-up piece of aluminum foil as an antenna for the 10 meter Amateur Radio Band. Believe it not, the antenna works. You have to see to believe this.
