Old tv rabbit ears junk box 2 meter antenna
Many older televisions came equipped with a simple "rabbit ears" antenna. As Kevin Loughin (KB9RLW) explains, this old tv antenna can be repurposed into a simple, effective 2 meter antenna.
If you need a standby, emergency 2 meter antenna, then that old television set in your garage could be the source of a free, easily converted antenna for 2 meter use.
