Long Wire Antenna Build



Installed with a proper ground radial or counterpoise system, a random length long wire antenna makes an excellent temporary or emergency antenna.

In this video, Jez (2J4EZ) takes us step-by-step through the design, construction, and testing of a long wire antenna.  Most of the materials for this antenna can be found at the nearest building supply outlet or neighborhood hardware store.
