HAM RADIO: Building a coaxial magnetic loop antenna, part 1
Here's a nice magnetic loop antenna project from Mike (M0MSN).
In part 1, Mike takes us step-by-step in designing and building the loops needed for this antenna. In part 2, Mike will build the capacitor to help tune the antenna.

Here are some comments from Mike (M0MSN):
Building a Double Coax MagLoop Part 1, why part one well that's because I need to buy a Air spaced Capacitor or make one! So this upload is all about the making of the double loop. it is a simple job but you will need some spacers and a lot of time to get it right. there is NO set diameter for the loops I decided on 1M in diameter and ended up with 94cm but it still works so!!!
Parts:
6M of ridged Coax ( something like Andrew Heliax) 15mm
4 spacers (I printed these but you can use PVC Pipe)
Variable Air Capacitor to finish the job
