This is post 2556 in a continuing series of simple ham radio antennas.
In this episode, we accompany Julian (OH8STN) on a portable operation with his new "Super Antenna MP1." Properly configured with an simple ground radial system, this antenna system is almost ideal for field or even home operations.
Here are some comments from Julian:
Hello operators. Todays we are discussing my favorite configuration for the Super Antenna MP1, portable ham radio antenna. The mp1 is a portable quarter wave vertical antenna, which is lightweight, and has a small breakdown size. It can be deployed in many different configurations but for this video, we are mostly interested in its "no anenna tuner required" attributes. 73 Julian #oh8stn Share video url: https://youtu.be/t_wzggM7-0E Mentioned in video: Super Antenna MP1: http://newsuperantenna.com Chameleon MIL WHIP: Want something interesting to dive in to while waiting for the next video?
