A top band aerial for small gardens
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jg4Agf3AqQ&ab_channel=RadioWorkshop
Thanks to Ray of the "Radio Workshop" for this interesting and easily-made 160 meter antenna for restricted spaces (such as small gardens).
While this antenna won't dominate the "top band", it will get you on the air with a decent signal.
Here are some general comments from Ray:
I have a small garden but my favourite amateur band is 160 metres. Problem? Yes, but there is a way round the problem. The aerial I describe in the video isn't the best, but it will get you on top band with, in my case, surprising results. And it's great on 80 metres through to 10.
