This is a non invasive friction mount for a truck bed. This antenna mount will work with any stud type antenna. Its been on my truck for just under a year and has shown absolutely no sign of fatigue. I have linex on my bed, so I didn't bother with paint protection as I didn't need it, However a piece of rubber between the bed rail and the clamp should protect the paint. I apologize for my hand getting in front of the camera, I don't have someone to hold the camera and manipulating the camera with one hand while giving demonstrations is fairly difficult, especially when climbing under a truck. :P
