Well-done, easy-to-follow tutorial on how to design, build, and test a simple 20 meter antenna made from speaker wire and a few easily available parts. 

You can make separate dipole antennas for any band you desire.  If you trim the antenna length carefully, you may not need an antenna "tuner" for keeping SWR low.
