Australian radio amateur Peter Parker (VK3YE) continues his QRP experiments on a nearby beach. This time, he uses a half square antenna mounted in the wet sand to establish some excellent contacts with the USA. A half square antenna is fairly easy to build and it delivers a bit more gain over a 1/2 wave horizontal dipole antenna.
