Although Louis Varney (G5RV--SK) designed this antenna as a 3/2 wavelength dipole for the 20 meter band, it has proven useful on amateur radio bands from 160 through 10 meters. In this video, Bernie Huth (W4BGH) explains the basic theory, design, construction, and use of this multiband antenna. Bernie presented the original video to the Brandon Amateur Radio Society in Brandon, Florida in March of 2017. The video is exceptionally well made and includes valuable suggestions for making this versatile antenna.
