With a few basic tools and some 50 ohm coaxial cable, you can make an emergency 2 meter antenna for home or portable use.  Kevin Loughin (KB9RLW) shows us a simple, easy way to make a fully functional 2 meter antenna from common materials in your shack.  Why not make this antenna for your "go-kit" or for your club's Field Day event?  You never know when an emergency will strike.
