Simple Ham Radio Antennas--DELTA Loop. Post #745.
If you're having trouble viewing this video, please insert this title link into your browser search box: https://youtu.be/OD9CU4c_KNY. The Delta Loop is a simple, easy-to-build, inexpensive, and efficient antenna that is excellent for both receiving and transmitting. In this video from Simon (M0YKS/2E0HTS), we learn just how easy it is to design, build, and use this full-wavelength antenna. In this tutorial, Simon builds the antenna for the 20 meter amateur radio band. With an antenna transmatch (i.e. tuner or ATU) and a 1:1 balun, this antenna works fairly well on 17 meters, 15 meters, 12 meters, and even 10 meters. You get 5 bands for the price of 1.
