Here is a simple, effective, and easily assembled 40 meter 1/2 wave dipole antenna from the "NZRadioGuy." This antenna is sturdy (notice the pvc strain support for the coaxial feed line) and can be used in a variety of amateur radio applications, from home to portable/emergency use.
